“Manistee County has been the recent beneficiary of several USDA grants that will support important economic development initiatives, including one involving the development of a program to help start-up business and entrepreneurs, and another to develop a county-wide branding strategy,” said Renee’ Ihlenfeldt, Executive Director of the Alliance for Economic Success. “We want to build upon this success and take full advantage of the USDA programs that are available to us. To make that happen, we’ll be offering the services of an individual who specializes in grant writing to help organizations follow up.”
