DEBORAH NALE NAMED CONSULTANT FOR MANISTEE SMALL BUSINESS
AND TECHNNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT CENTER

Manistee, Michigan – The Manistee-based Alliance for Economic Success announced today that Deborah Nale has been appointed to a new position focused on helping Manistee County small business owners and entrepreneurs.

Nale will serve as a consultant for the Small Business & Technology Development Center (SBTDC), a state-wide network consisting of 12 regional offices. The Alliance for Economic Success has become a satellite office for the Traverse City SBTDC regional office.

“Our goal is to provide existing small business owners and start up businesses in Manistee County with a local source of support through the SBTDC program,” said Renee’ Ihlenfeldt, Executive Director of the Alliance for Economic Success. “A big part of our job is to provide one-on-one business services and counseling, achieving success one business at a time.”

“It’s good news for Manistee County,” said Mary Russell, president of the Manistee SCORE. “It will provide a local hub for directing existing businesses and entrepreneurs to the services they need, including the specialized skills and experiences of our growing SCORE organization.”

Ihlenfeldt said that Nale will devote two days a week to the small business development functions from their office at 11 Cypress Street in the City of Manistee. Services are provided at no cost and will include helping business owners with:

• Accessing specific market research
• Developing new and expansion business plans
• Generating realistic financial forecasts
• Making connections with business resources
