FUN AND GAMES IN MANISTEE COUNTY
Manistee, Michigan – What forms of recreation are most important to the future of Manistee County? What do you think are most important recreational priorities? What recreational programs or opportunities need to be better supported or developed? How can we make existing and future recreational facilities more accessible to people of all abilities?
If you want a say in how people will play, recreate and generally have fun in Manistee County, you won’t want to miss one of two open forums to express your views.
Two public open houses are scheduled to gather your input to prepare the Manistee County Recreation Plan, a plan that will contain a roadmap for the county’s recreation goals, a pipeline to funding to help us build and strengthen Manistee County’s presence as a recreational leader. The open houses will be informal – and take just a few minutes of your time to gather your ideas.
The open houses are set for:
Wednesday, January 30, 2008
4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Brethren High School
Thursday, January 31, 2008
4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Faith Covenant Church
475 Eighth Street, Manistee
