COMMUNITY FORUMS SCHEDULED TO OBTAIN INPUT ABOUT RECYCLING
Manistee, Michigan -- Eight community meetings have been scheduled by the Alliance for Economic Success (AES) to gather information, opinions and recommendations to help identify options and opportunities and establish objectives for the future of recycling in Manistee County.
The AES was requested to host these community forums by the Manistee County Recycling Committee. The results of the Community Forums will be used to guide plans aimed at meeting community recycling objectives.
“Our sole purpose is to ask questions and gather information from our communities about what direction they’d like to take with regard to recycling,” said Renee Ihlenfeldt, Executive Director of the Alliance for Economic Success. “The information gathered will provide insight for any future efforts to strengthen, expand or make better use of recycling opportunities.”
Several meetings have been scheduled to encompass specific communities although anyone is welcome to attend any of the forums. All meetings are open to the public and will be held at the following dates, times and locations.
