The Portage Lake Watershed Forever Executive Committee Members and Technical Advisors are working hard to complete a draft Portage Lake Watershed Forever Plan based on community input, past studies, and recent monitoring efforts. They are currently seeking input on the draft plan through a Community Input Open House on Saturday, November 10, 2007, at the Onekama School Media Center from 9:00 - 11:00 AM. A brief presentation on the goals and objectives of the draft plan will be presented at 9:15 AM. Juice and donuts will be provided. See the attached flyer for details.
A complete copy of the draft plan will be available online and at the Onekama Branch Library later this month. Additional details will be included in a follow-up media release.
