“We originally wanted a session to ensure that City Council considered the State’s economic and political climate in updating the strategic plan for the City,” said City Mayor Richard Mack. “Now that we have secured leaders and experts of this caliber, we want to extend a special invitation to all of our fellow governments – Tribal, County, Townships and Villages as well as our citizenry.   This forum will help all of us develop plans and strategies in view of the special challenges and opportunities in Michigan.”

Each of the forum participants will offer remarks involving Michigan’s economic and political climate and emerging trends, followed by an interactive discussion including audience questions. The forum will be facilitated by the Alliance for Economic Success. Seating will be on a first come, first serve basis, with a capacity of 80.
