ALLIANCE FOR ECONOMIC SUCCESS
SEEKING NOMINEES FOR ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Manistee, Michigan – The Executive Committee of the Alliance for Economic Success is seeking applicants for appointment to its Board of Directors for three-year terms beginning February 1, 2010.

The vision of the Alliance for Economic Success is “prosperity” for businesses, organizations, institutions, agencies, families and individuals. Serving Manistee County, it was formed to facilitate, coordinate, plan, lead, implement and evaluate programs, initiatives, projects and other activities to improve the economic well-being and quality of life.

To further its mission, applicants representing diverse economic interests, such as manufacturing, nonprofit organizations, educational interests, small business, tourism and hospitality, as well as regional, statewide or national economic interests, are encouraged to apply.

Applications should be returned no later than 5:00 p.m. on January 22, 2010. The Board of Directors will be reviewing applications and considering the appointment of qualified candidates at their meeting on January 26, 2010.
